On the Steps of the Getty

The day my sister and I vistied the J. Paul Getty Museum for the first time was a gorgeous, clear, crisp February afternoon. I was amazed at how beautiful the white stone of the building looked against the light blue sky! I found that I was more interested in staying outside to explore the more contemporary architecture of the building, grounds, and sculpture, than I was to go into the dark gallery rooms.
