Bishops Castle

This whimsical hand built castle resides in the mountains of Colorado within the San Isabel National forest. Built By a single man, Jim Bishop, it towers within the pines. Intricate staircases, iron catwalks, and glass work tell a compelling story of a single mans dedication to build something incredible. Featuring many corridors lit by stained glass, and a great hall in the middle, it is a must see if passing by. Photographs hardly do this structure the justice it deserves.
